With a tremendous amount of excitement, passion and anticipation we welcome you to our 2008/2009 season.

Our first year brought us so many gifts. Our production of Rose was nominated for 5 Dora Awards for excellence in Toronto theatre and Lally Cadeau won for best actress; an unparalleled milestone for the inaugural show of a new theatre company. Yet no gift was more rewarding than starting a relationship with the patrons and supporters of the Harold Green Jewish Theatre Company. Because of that, we thought what better theme for our first subscription year than that of "the relationship." Our Jewish culture has relied on the relationships between past and present, child and parent, rabbi and congregation to define who we are in our belief system and our moral compass.

Therefore we've chosen Kindertransport, Tuesdays with Morrie and Zisele -- Three remarkable plays whose themes deal with the richness and complexities of family relationships.

We hope that these plays will make you think, feel and be inspired to hold your own relationships close to heart and be open to the new relationships that may come across your path in the future.

Let us be that pathway for this season to come.
